It was a huge privilege to be the recipient of the 2017-18 SsangYong Scholarship. In essentially my first season of racing, the resources the scholarship offered me immensely
accelerated my progress as a driver. This included additional training with Alexandra Whitley and support from SsangYong Dealer Team.
I am very thankful to have had the opportunity to work with ssang yong and I consider the scholarship a major catalyst of my
success to date. I wish the best of luck to this years applicants! I have no moved up through the motorsport ranks and currently race in Australia.
Receiving the 2018/19 Scholarship was a fantastic opportunity for my racing, with being an Aussie and having such a long summer break from racing it was great to be able to stay in a race seat all summer and especially in such a competitive category. I gained a huge amount of race craft with the door to door racing of the Ssangyong Racing Series and learnt so much car control. Everyone in the category is extremely helpful and very welcoming. The scholarship also helped with my growth and progress as a driver when coming back to Australia to compete in Aussie Racing Cars. For any girls out there looking for a race seat, Ssangyong Racing Series is the place to be!
